“When the lights are on, the cars are gone!” City of Plattsburgh Snow and Ice Removal Procedures; Adds parking ban hotline.

It’s that time of year again when snow or ice events occur in the City of Plattsburgh. The Department of Public Works would like to remind folks to heed the parking ban signal lights and remove cars from city streets and parking lots.

City increases paving projects in 2023

As the summer comes to a close, The City of Plattsburgh’s Public Works Department is still working hard to complete the aggressive road resurfacing schedule for this paving season. In addition, the City will be adding to the scope of streets slated for repaving, including sections of Cornelia, Broad and Durkee Streets.

The North Portion of Wilcox Dock will be closed for the Champlain Hudson Power Express Project.

Starting on Monday April 24th, Caldwell Marine International will begin a two year project to be located on the northerly portion of the Wilcox Dock, also known as the Plattsburgh Terminal.

Lake Country Village Water Main Replacement Nears Completion

Since work on replacing the asbestos water mains began on Wednesday July 6th, 2022 (71 work days), over 20,000 feet of new water main and 107 new water service lines have been installed. Click for more.

Lake Country Village Water Line Replacement Progressing
