Change in Refuse Collection Schedule!

There will be no refuse collections done by the Department of Public Works on the Thursday or Friday, November 28th and 29th, as a result of the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Collections for the week of Monday, November 25th will be as follows: Monday and Tuesdays collections will be done as previously scheduled, Wednesdays collection will be done on Tuesday, November 26th and Thursday and Fridays collections will be done on Wednesday, November 27th.

City offices phone maintenance - Monday, November 25 between noon and 2pm

The City of Plattsburgh expects to have phone maintenance on Monday, November 25, 2024 between Noon and 2pm which may cause intermittent issues. If you are not able to reach a City Department, please email cityinfo@cityofplattsburgh-ny.gov and your message will be passed on to that department. If there is an emergency, please dial 911. Thank you

Melissa Penfield bathrooms Closed for Construction starting 10/14

The bathroom building and adjacent areas at Melissa Penfield park will be closed starting Monday 10/14 to allow construction to begin, and will likely not be open until Spring. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the park. Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses. 

Peter Blumette Park Closed for Construction

Peter Blumette Park will be closed starting on Monday August 26th for construction until further notice. Please respect barricades and barriers that will be put in place by construction crews. Thank you for your understanding.
