City of Plattsburgh accepting applications for Hometown Heroes Banner Program

The City of Plattsburgh is partnering with local military families to honor men and women who have served or are currently serving in the US Armed Forces. Applications for this year’s program are due on March 15th.

The City of Plattsburgh will be hosting an eclipse viewing party at the Plattsburgh City Beach on Monday April 8th from 12:00 - 5:00PM. Join us for a celestial performance by local indie psychedelic rock band, Ursa and the Major Key alongside local food trucks, activities and more!

This Saturday’s TANNEN-BOOM! is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions

The Tannen-BOOM community bonfire event has been canceled due to forecasted high winds which pose a public safety concern. Due to staffing and vendor availability, the event will not be rescheduled in 2024.

The Tannen-Boom is back for its third year!

(PLATTSBURGH- Friday January 25th 2024) - The City of Plattsburgh will be hosting the third annual Tannen-Boom! winter celebration and community bonfire event at the Plattsburgh City Beach on Saturday February 24th, 2024.
