The City of Plattsburgh is proud to host the 2022 Mayor’s Cup Festival and Regatta on Saturday July 9th 2022 at The Plattsburgh City Beach in partnership with Plattsburgh Sunrise Rotary Club.
Plattsburgh City beach is open and marks the official start of summer! Beach Opening is planned for Memorial Day weekend but may change due to weather and current conditions at the time.
In honor of Earth Day, The City of Plattsburgh is coordinating a community-wide clean up day on Saturday April 23rd 2022. Get outside in your neighborhood, local park, downtown district or city beach!
The City of Plattsburgh will be hosting a Downtown Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 16th 2022 in partnership with The Z Group Real Estate. Join us in historic downtown Plattsburgh to hunt, search and gather easter eggs and celebrate the beginning of Spring!
On Monday October 11th at 3:00PM a brief ceremony will be held at Champlain Monument Park, 30 Cumberland Ave, Plattsburgh. A sign will be unveiled that will be placed in the park, providing information about medicinal flowers and plants used by The Haudenosaunee people.

To mark the completion of the Betty Little Arts Park, the City of Plattsburgh is holding an official grand opening on Saturday September 11th from 9AM to 1PM. The event will celebrate the new community gathering space named after former US State Senator, Betty Little, an avid supporter of the arts in our region.

The City of Plattsburgh will be hosting a third Bike Infrastructure Listening and Feedback session, virtually, on Tuesday August 10th at 6PM.
