On Monday October 11th at 3:00PM a brief ceremony will be held at Champlain Monument Park, 30 Cumberland Ave, Plattsburgh. A sign will be unveiled that will be placed in the park, providing information about medicinal flowers and plants used by The Haudenosaunee people.
The City of Plattsburgh is grateful to be a partner to the many dedicated volunteers from the 1814 Inc. non-profit that is organizing the Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration. More details about 1814 Inc. can be found on their website.
To mark the completion of the Betty Little Arts Park, the City of Plattsburgh is holding an official grand opening on Saturday September 11th from 9AM to 1PM. The event will celebrate the new community gathering space named after former US State Senator, Betty Little, an avid supporter of the arts in our region.
