On July 25, 2016, the Plattsburgh City Police Arrested Larry Mackie 23 of Brooklyn, New York and Sherburne House 44 of Plattsburgh, New York. The arrests stem of the execution of a search warrant by the Adirondack Drug Task Force at 227 Margaret Street Apt.4 Plattsburgh, New York.
During the execution of the search warrant that was issued by Plattsburgh City Court, Mackie and House were found to be in possession of approximately 96 grams of crack cocaine. Police estimate the street value of the crack cocaine to be in excess of $18,000. Other items recovered were various items used in the distribution of crack cocaine and approximately $2,300 in U.S. Currency. Mackie and House were each charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree a Class “B” Felony and arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court on July 26, 2016. Mackie was committed to the Clinton County Jail on $20,000 cash / $40,000 bond. House was committed to the Clinton County Jail without bail.
The execution of the warrant was a result of an investigation conducted by the Adirondack Drug Task Force which is comprised of members of the Plattsburgh City Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, New York State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations, Clinton County District Attorney’s Office and the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.
